To create images that feel like you, you have to move, feel, stand, and breathe like only you do. I like to think of our collaboration as a sandwich where I am the bakery bread and you are all the juicy fillings. We start with some good direction, then you really bring it all to life, and I fine-tune as needed.
02. Art | I prefer to make images that speak to both the universal feeling and your particular life.
We may have a concept in mind, but the organic nature of the person, environment, and mood takes the lead.
03. Communication | Knowing you is part of making art that is true.
We spend time together because I believe photography speaks to your past, present and future self.

Thrifting past prom dresses and photographing my sister in the woods to learn film, my camera, and the darkroom.
Publishing my work in High School because my junior year photography teacher encouraged me to create through my story and then put it out into the world.
Studying Visual Communications at Ohio University because I was fascinated with the impact of communicating through visuals.
Falling in love with culture different from mine while studying Art and Design in Cholulah, Mexico.
Buying a one-way ticket to Thailand to teach and travel and be as out of my element as feasible to see what else is possible.
After denying photography as “a job” I finally allowed myself my dream and started Morgan Whitney Photography in October of 2015.
Today, as my ultimate creative title, I am a mother. I have two young boys who have peeled back every layer of who I am. And though the unearthly joy and darkest truths that motherhood provokes, I am grateful.
I am grateful that my life has led me to the point where I now create moments of being present while feeling seen and celebrated with other women through the powerful art form that is photography.
